From the Apple menu choose System Prefences.

Click on "Network."

	Select your modem from the Show drop down list.
	Select the TCP/IP tab.
	Select Configure and choose Using PPP.
	In the Domain Name Servers box, type the DNS server addresses: 216.240.160.185 and 216.240.160.186
	In the Search Domains box, type ixpres.com
	Then go to the PPP tab.

	In the Telephone Number field, type your Access Number.
	In the Account Name field, enter your dialup username and include @ixpres.com
	In the Password field, enter your password.
	Check the Save password box
	Then click PPP Options button.

	Set your options as shown. You may optionally remove the tick from Disconnect if idle for xx minutes should you need to.
	Click the OK button.
	Go to Modem tab.

	In the Modem dropdown menu select your modem from the list.
	Set your options as shown.
	Click the Apply Now button.
	Close the Network window.
